Is PCOS Chasing Your Dreams?
p>“Maybe it’s not about the dream, maybe it’s about who we become while we’re chasing it.” - Alexander Den Hejjer. This is an awesome quote that really puts life in prospective but sometimes it’s hard to focus on the dream when life gets in the way.
No one in my high school sex-ed class told me about my body and all the stuff it would go through. They were so worried about sexually transmitted diseases and young pregnancy… which I totally get but wow what a wake-up call becoming an adult and dealing with reality. As a woman there was so much I never expected and PCOS was one of them… well unfortunately I found out I had PCOS way before anyone called me a woman but that’s besides the point.
Of course, this has shaped me as a woman, I’ve been able to bond with others and also create S'moo which is helping women all over the world. Still, the fact that so many people still don’t know about PCOS until they have some of the symptoms, symptoms that can stand in the way of their dreams… well it sucks. I’m hoping the more we connect with each other, the more we can help women in a faster and more enjoyable way.
We are more connected than ever and we can help one another.
Here are some accounts besides S'moo that you might enjoy to find others to connect with. Lets change the world together for Women!
