August 22nd is a day to celebrate your rainbow after your storm. 💗

Pregnancy after miscarriage is full of joy, yet can also bring other strong emotions.

Today, and every day is an opportunity to remember and honor the little ones you lost, celebrate your rainbow baby, and commemorate the journey you experienced to have them.

Here are some ways you can do this today:

SHARE YOUR STORY: Sharing your story can helps others find comfort and hope from your success. Share in our community or on social media using the hashtag #NationalRainbowBabyDay.

HONOR THE LITTLE ONES YOU'VE LOST: A miscarriage memorial or quiet time in reflection with your partner are ways to honor your angel baby. If you’d like ideas for memorials: planting a tree, writing about them, performing a balloon release or setting out flowers throughout the home.

ADVOCATE, SUPPORT or DONATE:
There are many organizations that help educate around pregnancy loss. Infertility and pregnancy loss are hard experiences to overcome, and even when you aren’t in those situations anymore… we wonder and worry about the people who are and can help. We encourage you to find an organization to get involved with.

How you spend this day is up to you but the most important thing to remember is to be kind to yourself when you have conflicting emotions. Today is dedicated to giving you the space to feel those feelings, to cry, smile and remember. You should never feel like you have to be silent about what you’re going through, and remember to reach out to a good friend, family member or S’moo Babe community if you need support.

Your story has purpose and can help remind others struggling that around 85% of women who have had one pregnancy loss and 75% of those who have had two to three losses go on to have a successful pregnancy with their rainbow baby.

There is hope, and we are here for you always for advice, support, and friendship. Sending you so much love today, and every day.

Xoxo,

S'moo HQ 💗
