I originally tired a version of this smoothie at Clean Juice and I loved it! It's called "The Coffee One" and I highly recommend it. However, not only is it expensive, I no longer live near a Clean Juice, so this has been my alternative. I think this recipe is pretty spot on to the one they offer and it gives you a nice little zing for your morning.
Now if you're trying to stay away from Caffeine, which we've talked about in other blogs, then this might not be the one for you but if you're a coffee fanatic than try out. The dates give it a nice sweetness, so if you'd like it a little sweeter, add more!

- 1 scoop S'moo
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 frozen banana
- 3 pitted dried date
- 1/2 cup cold coffee
- 1/4 cup almond butter
*For some extra fun, top with coconut whipped cream.
Coffee strengths (light, medium and dark roasts) will change the flavor. You can use whatever coffee you already have at home and just refrigerate it the night before or you can grab a cold brew at the store. I personally like to get a light blend or Kona blend and just make my coffee as normal and keep it in the fridge!
