Okay... this is a little bit of a stretch because this smoothie is way to healthy to be a Strawberry Daiquiri (most only requiring strawberries, rum, lime juice and sugar). This recipe is a little more unique and lot healthier!
As we talked about in "Top 5 Smoothie Mistakes to Avoid" we want these smoothies to really keep your hormones in check and get you feeling 100%
Total Time 5 minutes
- 1 scoop S'moo
- 3 oranges
- 2 cups frozen strawberries
- 1 large apple
- 1 banana
- 1 small tomato
- 1/4 cup plain coconut or Greek yogurt, or choice of milk
- 1 cup water or apple juice
Why these ingredients?
Tomatoes: Gross, not what I wanted in my daiquiri but wait! You can't taste it, I promise. Tomatoes are a great source of vitamins, they boost digestive health, improve your vision, and protect your heart. Not to mention they can help fit against cancer and also give you beautiful skin!
Oranges: Are a good source of vitamin C, minerals, and antioxidants. Oranges are known to support a healthy immune system.
Bananas: I like them just because they work great in smoothies! They add a great creamy texture but studies also show they help preserve memory and boost moods! Plus they are great for your digestive health.
Apples: Are not particularly rich in vitamins and minerals but they do have a good amount of vitamin C and Potassium!
